I think it’s safe to say we are all a little tired of wall to wall white interiors… and what better way to kick that habit in 2023 than with bold, bright magenta! Pantone’s color of the year is equal parts wild and feminine, perfect for an adventurous style, but can also work in small doses for even the most risk adverse.
Play it safe by incorporating the hue in easy to change home accessories like dishes and throw blankets. For a little bit more permanence, swap out neutral artwork for something feistier. A feature wall is another way to dip your toe into the trend without too much of a commitment. The below wallpapers would add so much personality to a space, even on just one wall or behind built-ins.

Magenta can work with any style, so maybe it’s delicate floral wallpaper with pink and purple accents, or modern colorblocking in an urban loft. If you’re feeling extra adventurous and a fan of the moody kitchen trend, consider painting your cabinets a dark shade of magenta. I’m not sure I could muster the courage to go as bold as this kitchen by Celia Bryson and Sophie Donelson, but it sure would make a statement! And even with it being the color of the year, I guarantee you’ll have the most unique kitchen of everyone you know. Fortune favors the bold after all.

However you decide to redecorate or change up your style this year, I hope you choose to think outside the box and have some fun! Paint can be changed, wallpaper can be removed, so make 2023 the year you go for bold.
